Today has just been full of news that is not what I want to hear. Ray took Colby to the eye doctor again to check the progress of his eyes. He's been wearing glasses (well, been TRYING to wear glasses) to correct his eyes. The left eye turns inward just a little (about 30% the dr says) and the glasses are to help strengthen them. Well, I guess the dr decided that he didn't want to wait another 3 months to see if the glasses will correct his eyes since they haven't gotten worse, but haven't gotten better either. So tomorrow we call them to make an apointment to have corrective surgery. I'm honestly so scared for Colby. I know it's not massive surgery or anything like that, but its still surgery. And that scares me.
I called my mom as soon as I got home. When she called me back she told me just to keep her updated on the date of the surgery because we would have to go to Lincoln which is 3 hours away and she wants to be there. She then proceeds to tell me that we won't be doing family pictures after all because my dad has some form of skin cancer on his face. He basically has to have some kind of chemical placed on his face to kill the cancer cells. So his face will not be picture ready. Another thing I didn't want to hear today, but hopefully he can get it cleared up and it doesn't spread. My dad has a really bad habit of making people feel sorry for him and being negative when he needs to be positive. I don't know how he would handle full blown cancer.
Anyway, nothing too much else to report on today. I did run to Target yesterday and pick up a pair of leggings for $5. --can't pass up a deal like that-- also got some breast milk storage bags and a few things for my hospital bag. Then I stopped at Walgreens and picked up a netipot. Which I am honestly scared shitless about using. But will be using tonight...hopefully.
Alright...I think that's it for now!

32 Weeks Down!
Only 8 more weeks left! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown. It's rather crazy.
So, my 5 day weekend was pretty fun. Wednesday night I got to watch my Pretty Little Liars Halloween special, and a lot of stuff really started making sense. I still don't know who 'A' is, but I do know now that a few certain characters were in on a bunch of stuff together.
Thursday, my cousin Laura and I took Colby to the Vala's Pumpkin Patch out in Gretna. WOW, that place was HUGE! Didn't think we'd get to the end of it once we started walking around. But it was a lot of fun! I almost think we should have gone earlier since there was so much fun stuff to do, but then again, a lot of the stuff cost money and I think Colby was almost too little to get a "full blown experience", but I could tell by the smile on his face, he was having a great time! Next year I hope to take him again and hopefully have Ray go too. Spend the whole day at the pumpkin patch. In the end, we ended up getting Colby a little pumpkin that he just loves carrying around since we've got it back home.
Friday I really didn't do too much. Mom and I watched Ghost Adventures on Travel Channel and I really wish we got that station! I LOVE that show. I must have scared the crap out of myself by watching it tho because I ended up sleeping upstairs on the couch. lol. BUT it ended up being a blessing that I did because by the morning, there was a cricket down there! GRRRRRRR...hate those things.
Saturday my mother and I got up early and headed to Kearney for their craft show. I really wish I had some money because I saw plenty of things that I wanted to buy. Oh well. I'm sure there will be a few of those vendors at the Seward Craft show in Nov. By then I will have some money to buy more of the things that I want.
Also on Saturday was the Husker game. We missed the first quarter but we were listening to it on the radio. (I would have hated growing up listening to the game on the radio....not as exciting.) Anyway, the game was rather slow going but we ended up winning 41-14. Not the most exciting game but that's ok. Watched the Wisconsin vs Michigan State game and WOW! THAT was a good game. Too bad we play Michigan State next weekend and will more then likely get our asses handed to us.
Sunday was my essentials party. I really wasn't looking forward to this at all, but it ended up being alright. My aunt stressed out over it way too much. Only a few people showed up, but in the end, I was happy a bunch of people didn't show up. I wanted the party to be small anyway. I did get a few nice things and I did get things that I needed. So I consider it a success. The party ended up lasting about 2 hours of us just talking and by the end I stayed in town later then what I wanted because I couldn't miss the Packer game. My Packers won 33-27 (I think) and they are now the last NFL team in the league to be undefeated this year! YEY!! 7-0 baby!! super excited about that.
Today was just another work day. I'm really getting slow at work...luckily my boss wasn't a total dick to me today. I did do a lot of extra stuff today tho...so I deserve to be treated nice. I also joined a weight loss group at work. They basically told me they won't start doing my weight loss until after I have the baby. But I'm glad we're doing this! I have a lot of weight to lose before June!
Not too much else going on. I've decided I won't bitch in this entry :)

5 Day Weekend
So I am at my parents house today. Got here last night around...oh, 5:30 maybe? I wanted to get here so I wouldn't miss the Pretty Little Liars Halloween Special...lol yes I know. I'm so in love with this show, and now knowing who "A" is, is starting to kill me. I have figured out a few things tho from the special, which is good. Will make a few other things make sense.
Today I am hanging out with my cousin, Laura. She posted on her facebook that she wanted to go to a pumpkin patch and do a corn maze and what not and I've been wanting to take Colby for the past 2 years! So I'm really excited about going. We found this place outside of Gretna that sounds really fun. (update) Just read on her facebook that she wasn't feeling well. So we may not be going to this after all. I'm a little sad, but I think it will be ok. There is actually a little place out here in Seward that has a corn maze and pumpkins and such that I think I may just take my little man to if we end up not going. (Laura, I know you read my blog, so don't be too upset if we don't go! I would rather you feel better then get sick on a hayride)
Either way, I am actually sick myself. I have this nasty head cold and it's starting to drive me nuts. The worst part about it, I can't take anything! I just have to suffer through it. I've been putting vicks under my nose and on my chest to try and make it through the day, but it's not helping that much. I hope I can run to walmart and find this saline solution a friend recommended to me. Hope that helps!
OH! Also, while I am home, my mother has showed me the pack n play she was talking about that had a changing table and bassinet. Thank goodness it's the one I was thinking that it was. I'm glad too because now I don't have to spend a butt load of money on a new one! hehe. I'm actually considering buying a changing pad to have around the house. That way we don't have to change him on the floor just on a blanket or whatever. (I'm unsure yet)
So even tho, this Saturday we won't be having my shower during the game like I wanted, my mother and I will be going to a craft show. I'm actually excited about going because I just love going to these things! Thinking it may just be the 2 of us going, so that's alright. I would rather it just be me and mom anyway. We need mother/daughter time. I am a little sad that I won't have any money to spend but what can ya do. I WILL, however, be happy when Nov 15th gets here and I have my Christmas money. I will have it right before the Seward Craft show so I can actually BUY SOMETHING! I'm planning on sending a little just because gift to my bumpie/facebook friend. I'm sure if she reads this she'll know who she is, but I just want to send something cute for her and her little one that is on the way!
I'm unsure if I have menioned this in my last post or not, but I am reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. OMG, this book is excellent! And what's even more crazy is the fact that the book is her FIRST book! I can't believe that. I'm almost finished with it, but since I didn't feel well last night, I decided not to read at all. I may just wait until tonight to finish it. I'm not big on reading so I'm surprised at how fast I have gotten throught this 500+ page book!
Everyone have a great day!!

Don't Like Being Sick!!
I wake up this morning to a runny nose and a slight sore throat...fantastic. Grrr. Oh well, maybe I'll buy that netty pot thing and give that a whirl.
Anyway, this weekend is my "diaper party" and I am now really less then excited about it. The fact that we had to change it to a Sunday and then hardly anyone is coming, I would rather we all go out to eat. But when I mention this idea to my mother, good lord....she refuses to let that happen. I really don't understand why. If no one calls to RSVP, then why don't we just go out for lunch?? It makes more sense to me. I would actually like to go to Applebees in York, then when it's all done, I can just leave from there. Grr...maybe I'll have to just talk to Renee when I'm at home this week. Maybe she'll listen to me.
Not a whole lot else has been going on lately. I did get Colby's costume yesterday and I'm really excited to see him in it! I'll have to post a picture of it up here soon. I'm also pretty sure I'll be able to either sell it or even reuse it in a few years with William. I have the perfect idea for them next Halloween. They will def be dressing up as the Mario Brothers! hehehehe. Colby will be Luigi and William will be Mario. hehe. I think I've done pretty well with all my costumes so far for Colby. First year he was a Tiger, then his second year he was a scarecrow and this year he will be a dragon. I do think I spent too much with this costume, but that's alright. Like I said, there is always another kid to use it and then after that, garage sales.
Speaking of garage sales, is it weird for me to be really excited about them? Or atleast being able to have one in the next year or 2? I mean, I'm pretty sure we're done with having kids (which also makes me a little sad) because for some weird reason I picture us with 3.. why I don't know.. but even by next summer, I would be able to have a garage sale. Of all my baby stuff. Well...most of it anyway. I actually think I would have better luck with garage sales up in Seward, even tho I did make over $100 at the last garage sale that I held with Ray's mom. Hmm...may have to talk to Renee and see if maybe in a year or so she would want to do a double garage sale. Or maybe I'll just have one at my moms. I don't know. Pretty sure I could sell some stuff on ebay or craigslist, but idk. I'd rather just have a garage sale.
I also hate the fact right now that I haven't been able to blog for a few days! It makes me really sad. Ray finally got the computer up and running smoothly again so I can blog no problem! I haven't done a vlog in a while...but that's alright. The last one I made was over an hour long! haha. oops...
Ok, so I'm thinking this weekend at the craft show...yes, I'm going to a craft show in Kearney which is an hour away from here and 1 1/2 from my parents...I'm going to look for a few things. Def want to see if I can find a husker blanket at a decent price...but I still think it would be better for me to just buy fabric and make it myself. May have to get fabric and go out to grandma's and see if she'd be willing to help. I would love for my kids to have their own denim blankets with their names on them. I really love mine. I just don't know if she would have time for that. I know she's making stuff for me and Jessie right now. I'll just have to see if we can talk to her this week...or maybe mother can make them since she has so much denim and a machine.
Alright, I guess I better get going...we have the drs in an hour and a half and I look like crap!
